Aftercare/ Alumni

At Burning Tree we believe that Aftercare and Alumni groups play a crucial role in the recovery process. The primary function of these groups is to serve as a bridge to recovery keeping Alumni accountable, helping new graduates connect with established graduates and 12-step groups in the community.

Stepping outside of the safe and secure boundaries of treatment is often an overwhelming experience as newly discharged clients grapple with finding the right meetings, being accountable to a sponsor, and connecting with aftercare and alumni resources, while at the same time continuing to address their individual recovery issues. Easing this process of re-entry and supporting people in their ongoing recovery is what the Burning Tree Aftercare and Alumni groups are all about.
