Inpatient Rehab for Treating Addiction in Women
Women, in particular, face unique risks when it comes to addiction, often tied to trauma and co-occurring mental health disorders. Burning Tree has treated women in addiction since 1999.
Her safety, stability, and skill-building are our top priority.

Treating Emotional and Physical Trauma with Addiction
Many of the women we treat come to the Lodge with both addiction and some unresolved trauma. Our use of Seeking Safety ensures clients receive the support they need without being overwhelmed by deep trauma work too soon.
Why Seeking Safety:
- Clients build emotional resilience before addressing past trauma.
- Helps clients see how trauma fuels substance use and vice versa.
- Clients leave each session with practical, real-world skills they can use immediately.
“Personal trauma and substance use are usually linked together. We use Seeking Safety to help women process their emotional and physical trauma in a secure setting.”
